| Re: menieres disease
My brother-in-law has extremely severe Menieres Disease for over 10 years now. He's on disability and we never know when it's going to suddenly worsen. He has been stuck in bed for nearly 9 months at a time. A labytinthectomy was suggested for the vertigo syptoms of his Disease, however because they cannot be certain which ear (or both) is causing the vertigo the thought of doing both and ending up deaf is too much of a risk to take.
Just be certain that they know which ear is causing the problem prior to the surgery. I understand how much this Syndrome can rip apart lives and how serious it is. I truly feel for your husband, and you... and wish you all the best.
If you would ever like me to put you in touch with my brother-in-law feel free to contact me.
