Ive had this bad odor coming from my nose for about 2 months. I think a little bit has to do with post nasal drip. But there is something else going on the smell has to be coming from my sinuses. Ive been on augmentin for 10 days nothing happend. Ive been nasal irrigating my sinuses 4 times a day. Ive taken a ct scan of my sinuses and I have slight inflammation of the sinuses. My ent says looks like have slight infection in all my sinuses I think it spread do to the nasal irrigation. The odor is getting worse by the day. Im also taking nasonex now. Also some citrus oil type nasal spray for dryness of nose. I will get surgery soon on I believe they are going to widen my turburnites. My ent says hes not sure were the smell is actually coming from. Also hes not sure if this surgery will help with the smell. He also ruled out that its not ozema. Is it possible that my mucus membranes are damaged and they do not produce enough mucus because I barley get any mucus. I would appreciate any input on my problem thank you.

Oh my GOD bad, I have the same issues. Mine is from PND caused by allergies, before you have the surgery start taking an OTC antihistamine. It helps me a little, it doesn't take the smell away unfortunately but it sure helps it alot. it takes it from a 10 to a 7 but for you it may eliminate it all together. Try using the anti for at least two weeks and you should see a change. Keep me posted.

Ive already have had the surgery its been almost 2 weeks now since then. Ive tried claritin which is a otc right. Im trying zinc,garlic and vitamin c supplements now. I still have the odor I think it has to with my nasalpharynx im going to ask my ent next week.
