Continual virus spreading - Ear, Nose & Throat Message Board

I have had problems with getting throat infections due to sinus drainage for years, and always believed these were specific only to me and not contagious. I now know better. I live with my mother, my girlfriend and my 3 yr old son and for the last 18 months we have been continuously passing infections (ear, throat, sinus, etc) back and forth to each other to the point that one or more of us is constantly sick. Does anyone know how to stop this vicious cycle??? It's driving us all czazy!

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Okay, wash all the dishes in the dishwasher, each of you should have your own towel, including hand towel, and whoever's sick isn't allowed in the kitchen. Frequent hand washing is good too.
