high pitched sounds in ear

any relationship between teeth grinding and hearing high pitched sounds in ear? i constantly hear this high pitch sound (it's like when you come out of a niteclub or concert) and you are in a quiet space and all you hear in the high pitch dead air sharp piercing sounds! i am going insane and is so afraid this will stay for life with me! will going to a chiropractor help?
