Clicking noise when I breathe?

Not sure if this is even the right category for this, and everybody I ask just looks at me like I'm crazy. Some nights I hear these tiny, almost inaudible clicks. It took me forever to figure out they were coming from me. It feels like something inside my neck, like around the base of my skull maybe, makes this tiny click almost every time I inhale. I guess I only hear it at night because it's too quiet to hear when other stuff is going on. Stranger still, it only seems to happen when I'm laying on my right side. It's not painful, there's not really any feeling at all, just slightly annoying if I focus on it. Mainly I'm just curious what this could be. Has anyone heard of this?
