Unhappy tonsil stones... please help for natural remedies?

so I've got history of acid reflux and a feeling of food getting stuck in my throat for about 8months.

I've had another topic oened for acid reflux for awhile, done gastroscopy, ate pills for reflux...but now I'm beginning to think since I'm off my pills for about 2 months it wasn't really reflux, neither inflamed throat that's causing my problem of eating, but it was TONSIL STONES all the time! I didn't notice it until they began to show more constantly and I noticed that when I didn't find any in my mouth for about 2 weeks I was able to eat normally without a feeling of food being stuck in my throat, but when they showed all those problems started. My doctor obviously didn't think about it, cause back then I didn't give it much attentionand I didn't even mention it to my doctor, but then I did a little research on the net and I see it's getting worse now and all the treatments I had might have been for nothing since I didn't really have reflux (which my doc later also confirmed me twice), but those things were left untreated.

So my question to those experiencing this, did any of you find some natural remedy to get rid of them? I had asked an online doc about it and he wrote me I should have endoscopy done, but I dont really see a point in it since I had gastroscopy about 2 months ago and all I got back was inflamed throat and I had to take pills for reflux for another month (I guess for nothing since I didn't really have it, or at least in a worst condition)
now I'd appreciate any of you telling me your opinion what should I do? I know that if I go to my doctor she'll most probably send me on surgery to have my tonsils removed, cause as I understood there's no really any medicine to get rid of those annyoying white 'things' (from reading online) or is it?

You know I wouldn't be stressing about it so much, but I'm already on antidepressants and last 2 weeks it's so bad that I won't eat anything much from solid food, cause I always have a feeling of it sticking there on the right side of my throat and staying there for days..I have it now and it's been so for the last 2 weeks. And I guess its not the food, cause I ate toast and stuff and since this stuff is harsh to swallow whatever food would be stuck there should be 'pushed' further down by the food I ate, isnt it so? So my last guess is there are tonsil stones back there, cause about 5 days ago I had one IN my left tonsil and I tried gagging and stuff and got a few pieces of them out. There was practically a 'hole' in my tonsil and still I could get it all out.

Also I was thinking anyone having this, how often did you get the stones? cause so far I noticed there was a moth gap and in between I was able to eat normally for about 2 weeks.

So please once again, anyone with problem like this advise me. I'd really appreciate it, cause I'm going nuts with this feeling of 'food' being stuck in my throat and I keep thinking about it for days when it doesnt go out and keep swallowing and it doesn't help and it's so irritating and it's not helping my depression any better, cause I keep on panicking about it.

I can't imagine how tonsil stones could cause food to stick in your throat as the esophagus and the tonsils are separated too much and the tonsils are on your upper palate area, not down your throat. I would agree with your doctors, it is probably reflux or some other problem that is causing the dysphagia, but not the tonsil stones.

you know as weird as it may sound, it is possible. I read from many people saying they have the same problems. It's probably a tonsil stone sticking somewhere and I swallow it unknowingli, probably with food and it either causes food to stay there along with it or it stay there alone. Its big enough itself to get you a feeling of somethin being stuck in your throat, so I think it's possible, cause I don't see other problem, cause if it'd be reflux then my doc wouldn't take me off my meds if she knew I'd still need them and as I said this happens every few weeks lately that I find tonsil stones back there and when I do have them the problem with sticking starts...

The only advice i give for tonsil stones is: get a tonsillectomy done. It's the only cure. You can listen to many natural remedies...None of them actually works. You are free to decide if you want to live the rest of your life with those stones or without them. BUT I can't say if the food-stucking problem is related to the tonsils. Good luck

Talking Re: tonsil stones... please help for natural remedies?

I'm in my 30's and I have been aware I had tonsil stones since elementary school - I just didn't know what they were called. Anyway, as with most people with tonsil stones my doctors either told me it was food or an infection. But they never went away. It seemed I almost always had them. 15 years ago I gave up dairy and I noticed that the intensity of my tonsil stones dramatically decreased. (I used to have stones visible from every cavity of my tonsils.) Dairy is such a common allergen that I started to wonder if it was a dairy allergy. But I still would get tonsil stones so I just wasn't sure.
Fast forward to over 2 years ago when my friends wanted to do a 30 day gluten-free diet experiment. I was convinced that gluten did not bother me at all but decided to do the GF trial with them for fun. This was my life changing moment. After 30 days I had no signs of tonsil stones and in general I felt amazing and more energetic than ever. I decided to extend the GF trial to 90 days. No tonsil stones! I am a research scientist (not medical) so I wanted to do a few tests before I was going to decide that all this time my tonsil stones were an allergy. So after my 90 days with no gluten I went back to my regular (very healthy plant-based) diet. The tonsil stones came back. After 90 days being on my regular diet I went gluten free again and within 30 days the stones were gone again. After a few months of being gluten free I again decided to eat gluten. Again, the stones came right back. I went the last year and a half without gluten and had only one small bout with tonsil stones (I'll talk about that in a second.) But recently I was traveling in Africa and decided to go ahead and have gluten. Within days the stones were back.
So for myself I am 100% convinced that my stones are caused by allergies. Largely gluten and dairy.
Now, the small bout I had when I was on my year and a half of being gluten free was when I had just moved into a new place that had really old & gunky carpet. My allergies went crazy in that place until I replaced the flooring. Pretty sure that carpet was harboring some nasty stuff that triggered my allergies.
I can not believe I went 30 years of my life with tonsil stones when all i had to do was give up gluten and dairy and live a clean (toxin/allergin free) life.
I don't know if this would be the case for everyone but it was absolutely the case for me. Now, years ago if someone had told me that all I had to do was give up dairy and gluten I would have been resistant, thinking there would be nothing at all for me to eat. But its actually really easy once you learn about all the substitutes out there. So beyond worth it. I was ready to remove my tonsils but I'm really glad I removed the cause of the stones instead.
Good luck to anyone that tries this route. It's worth it- I promise.
