eating has become painful!

Yesturday night I ate a chip whole. I can still eat but every time I swallow it is painful and uncomfortable. What can I do to get rid of it?

Re: eating has become painful!

Did the chip go all the way down? If so, it might have scratched your throat. That would definitely make it painful to eat. I've done that before and it went away in a few days. I would try to stay away from chips or anything like them (pretzels, etc) until it feels better.
