Tinnitus or hearing loss?

Well for the first time i noticed ringing in my ear was about two years ago. One day i just blew my nose very hard and i was hit by dizzy spell for few seconds and very loud ringing in my right ear. Since then ringing hasn't stopped. But year ago i noticed difficulty to hear when few people talks at same time, i couldn't understand what are they saying, for me it was huge buzzing noise. Also i have feeling of slight fullness in my ear, sometimes more sometimes less. Other problem is that my both ears often itch (ear canal), i'm wondering if that could be ear wax, causing itching.
I've noticed that if loud noise is exposed to my ear it blocks (this is only optimal description because it's hard to describe precisely what it feels) for a moment. It happens if somebody is talking loud at me or near, and sometimes when i talk bit louder than normal. Now, while i'm speaking over phone, when other person talks i have this blocking feeling, after talk my ear rings and for few seconds i can't hear anything with that ear. Also i can't hear what others say if they're not facing me directly. My tv is louder than it used to be years ago. Also at times i can feel sharp, stabbing pain mostly in right ear, it lasts for few seconds but repeats often. I don't use any medication and i haven't been to doctor. I've done some research but all i got is tinnitus as answer. But i'm bit curious if it could be hearing loss from exposure to loud noises (12 years at school with yelling students). If someone has any suggestion or idea, please share. Thank you
