I am currently battling a terrible head cold or allergies. My ears have been plugged and nose plugged for almost two weeks. I had to stop using psuedophedrine because it stopped working and was giving me anxiety attacks. I want to try Afrin. Will I get anxiety attacks with Afrin as well?

Afrin shouldn't give you anxiety attacks but you have to be very careful with how you use it. If it's overused, or used for too long, Afrin can actually cause "rebound congestion", which will only make things worse.
Your best bet is to follow the label instructions to not use it for more than 3 days and to use a 1-2 sprays in each nostril.
It's very effective (and safe) if used as directed.
