Hi everyone/anyone,
I have a little problem and do not have any kind of insurance and cannot afford a doctor..so I was wondering if anyone can help. Ive been researching a lot online and still cannot find the answers im looking for. so:
I have had sore throats before on and off but for a few months already, Ive had a white patch on the left side of my throat. its kind of deep so its hard for me to examine it myself, but I dont know what it is. I dont think I have any pain, fever, or sore throats lately. Just a white raised patch and its not those little pus pockets that you can pop out. Ive had those before and its not like it. This one doesnt come out (at all!)and its maybe a little less than a centimeter in length and its oblong, not round.I have bad breath pretty often even though i take care of my teeth pretty good, but that could be from my 2 cavities that im about to get fixed. No other symptoms. Ive had this for over 3 months for sure, dont know exactly how long and it hasnt changed. I believe I am perfectly healthy except lately Ive been worried about a big mole that is assymetrical and darker than the rest of my hundred moles. or maybe im just a hypochondriac. Does anybody have any ideas besides seeing a doctor? or maybe something I can afford??
Well, combined with the bad breath I would guess it's a well-lodged tonsil stone. Sometimes they are hard to get out, but more to the point if you have craters that deep in your tonsils, they probably need to be removed. My tonsils, before I had them removed, were huge and cratered. I got tonsil stones the size of pebbles in them, sometimes.
