hi my name is ibrahim shah..

i need a medical openion about my wife..actualy she cont smell any thing...acording to her its by birth...i m realy worrie about her bec alot o time i fell she cont diffrentiate between identical thing....plzzz if any one can help me ill be realy greatfull.

She's not alone. The condition is called anosmia, the inability to smell anything.

tnaks for replying....dont tell me u got same prob....and is there any treatment for it.....bec i realy love her and its harts me when she cont smell a lot of beautiful perfumes, when she cont smell food and alot more....i wana help her...any thing that i can do about it..

My problem is nasal polyps that stem from certain allergies.
I think your wife should go to an ear, nose and throat doctor who may want to refer her to an allergist. It has been helpful for me.
