Hang in there. I had mine out June 9th, and I'm so I excited that I finally made the decision and followed through. You'll do just fine with the pain. Just remember to take those meds and rest. Best of luck, wallaj

Hang in there,it will be so worth it. I've been eating lots of mashed potatoes with sour cream added, mac and cheese, chicken and stars soup, and oatmeal. I don't feel like I've lost much weight, probably because of all the starches I've been eating. I was so hungry for protein that I added protein powder to all of those, and really couldn't see a change in the flavor. I also had bean soup, white beans boiled down so that they were very soft and easy to eat. It seemed to help me get through. Take care, will be wishing you the best. It's finally day 14 for me. You might also ask for a stronger pain med. Percocet really helped get me through the pain. I don't think I could have made it on a lighter pain med. Best of Luck, Wallaj
well i made it to day 14 no pain no bleeding ....been pretty much just eating soft foods still i still have a little white inside my mouth but it seems alot better...only thing is that i cant really smoke cigs i know there bad and all but i didnt plan on quitting anyway my ent actually said smoking lowers the risk of bleeding bc it shrinks the blood vessels in your throat so im not worried that it will make me bleed just kinda hurts to smoke wondering if anyone else smoked before and how long it took to begin to smoke normally again thanks all
