Small bubble or blister under tongue

Yesterday after dinner I noticed a blister type bubble started forming under my tongue. It's on the left side of the middle and at the base. I can touch it with the tip of my tongue which is how I noticed it, it's soft/smooth kind of like a blister and it''s slightly uncomfortable whenever I touch it. First time I ever had it so I'm not sure what it is. Anyone else have such an experience?

Other info:
Been a smoker for 2 year with 2 packs a week
