| red patch on tongue ?
Hi my daughter had a red patch on her tongue, it is about the size of a small fingernail. It is redder than her tongue, and what look like her tastebuds are white dots, a couple look like they are risen. There are no other problems with it as far i can see, she said last night ( that whilst eating a piece of cake that it hurt a bit , and did not carry on eating with it , which is so unlike her !)
I have tried to get her into the doctors, but they are booked up and between her college times and there opening hours i cannot ge her booked in.
She has had this for about 2-3 weeks ( well that is whn she first noticed it)
Can anyone tell me what this could be, as we are now worried, and i won't be able now to get her into the docs until she finishes for summer
