Clogged ear

I was recently diagnosed with swimmers ear after experiencing pain in my ear along with a loss of hearing. After visiting with a nurse practitioner, I was prescribed ear drops. Treatment after 4 days seems to have cleared up the infection, however, my ear is now completely clogged. I can definitely feel that there is liquid in there, but nothing seems to be able to clear the ear. I've squirted water up the ear with a rubber bulb, tried ear wax removal drops, Q tips dipped in peroxide and even holding my nose shut and blowing out through the nose to try and pop my ears, but nothing has worked. Is there anything else I can try, short of going back to the doctor's office?
