For the past 2 or 3 days my left ear has been extremely itchy and irritated on the inside. It feels raw. I can't help but try to scratch sometimes, and when I do put a q-tip in, sometimes some dried blood comes out. It's also always wet on the inside. Idk if I have an ear infection or what. Anybody ever dealt with that before?
I tried to get to see my Primary Care Dr today but I couldn't get an appointment. I already have an appointment with my ENT dr for Tuesday, but now we are supposed to get terrible snow again (I live in NYC!) and idk if I will be able to get there.
Can anybody suggest anything to give me some relief in the meantime, until I can see my dr? I don't know what is safe to put in my ear.
