Post nasal drip after infection (uri)

Five years ago, I kissed a woman and the next morning woke up with a sore throat.

It has not gone away.

My main symptom is phlegm, burning throat, difficulty swallowing.

I was diagnose with LPR (Laryngopharyngeal Reflux).

I do not have any reflux issues.

I am wondering if my post nasal drip is related to the virus I got from kissing the woman and not reflux.

Can the burning be from PND and not reflux.

Would marshmallow tea possibly cure me, or only relieve my symptoms?

Try an antihistamine or a decongestant to get rid of the PND and see how you feel then.

Is there any brand that is best?

Is it really possible that I could have this for five years and it could go away with this?
