| Staph infection of Salivary Glands
My husband has had swollen lymph nodes and tonsils along with bilateral ear infections inside the ear drum and into the ear canal causing his ears to swell shut. After several rounds of antibiotics things have not quieted down and even began to flare worse while finishing the last meds. Today the dr told him he thinks he may have a staph infection of the salivary glands and put him on another antibiotic and steroids.
Anyone ever hear of this? What were your symptoms? Did they resolve/worsen? Things we should watch out for?
