Re: Hurts to swallow, but no fever or other cold/flu symptoms
no clue but my family doctor gave me some fluid to gargle with (to numb the throat) i think it was called apo benzydamine and some robitusin: dry cough and it was gone in a week.
Re: Hurts to swallow, but no fever or other cold/flu symptoms
I seem to have the exact same symptoms. They started about two to three days ago. The only difference is that the pain is on the left side of my throat. There is a bit of a swollen gland which I can press on the left side of my neck -- it's not really painful, just noticeably tender.
Re: Hurts to swallow, but no fever or other cold/flu symptoms
Have you observedd it the pain starts/escalate when swallowing spit or small amounts of drink, but temporarely is gone when you eat (swallow mouthfulls of food and drink)?
I repeated my problem to my GP, who repeated over and over again that it was a "lump of anxiety"
