Tonsil stones HELP

I need advice...I have tonsil stones and I don't know what to do about them...they are very painful and I don't know if they will just go away or if I need to go to my doctor to have them removed or what I need to do...I have seen video's on you tube of people removing them themselves but I have a very sensitive gag reflux so I couldn't possibly do that...does anyone have any advice for me???

I'll be frank: There are tons of ways to get them out, but they will just come back. I spent years digging them out, and finally cut dairy products out of my diet to try to help. This does help, immensely.
I was still having problems with bad breath, an occasional tonsil stone, etc, and so I finally did what will permanently eradicate the little buggers-- a tonsillectomy. I am on day 8 of recovery, and it sure isn't fun, but well worth it, I think.

Best of luck with them, try cutting dairy out if possible!

Or, if you're brave, go for a tonsillectomy. Depends how much trouble they are causing you though.
