YippitySkippity Newbie (male) Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Seminole, Florida, USA Posts: 6	Lingual tonsils. How many should I have? I know that just behind the big taste buds and in front of the epiglottis there should be a bunch of soft bumps. I have those and they look normal but they don't stop there. They are smaller and polyp like and extend to the side of the base of the tongue. There must be dozens of them but a bit more on one side. I know that they are not taste buds. What are they. Does anybody else have them?
