I have suffered with tonsil stones for a couple of years from my right tonsil. Now my tonsil is slightly enlarged and I have been referred to ENT. Appointment in a months time... What should I expect from my appointment? Any kind words of comfort appreciated, so worried I've got Lymphoma or some cancer.

im sure you will be fine, many peoples tonsils are horrid and play up. my ENT consultant said he doesent understand why all are not removed from birth!, you probably will talk to them and have your tonsils removed, and dont worry , its a good thing, no more stones

as for the lymphoma, i had Hodgekins Lymphoma (cancer of lymph nodes) and i never had stones are my tonsils enlarged.

keep your chin up, im sure you will be fine

Thanks for your reply. Why did u have to have your tonsils out? My appointment is on the 11/9 and I'm starting to get v scared. My tonsil doesn't bother me enough to go thru with a tonsillectomy I just want to know my enlarged tonsil isnt going to make me ill. x

i suffered with Chronic Tonsillitus, had it 13 times last year, also my tonsil would swell and sit on the back of my tounge.

so even tho im in massiv pain now, gotta look to the future

as i said, im sure u will be fine, and its just an icky tonsil

I'm freaking out... appointment getting closer. Anyone had just one enlarged tonsil? What happened to you?

So scared to google it cos I know what I will read :-(
