Are there any health advantages to removing ear wax (or having it done professionally), if the individual has no hearing problem? In addition, I was wondering if having a lot of impacted ear wax could put pressure on other areas of the face? Thanks for any information.
Be very cautious about having your ears flushed. They used a high pressure gun-like device on mine, and that was the beginning of over a year of problems. I am a nurse in long term care, and the doctors usually recommend Debrox ear drops to loosen the wax, but they don't usually flush them anymore.
My ENT does not flush mine. He uses an instrument that looks sort of like a crochet hook to pull the wax out. Ask yours to do that instead of flushing.
Hi I am just curious you said you had a year of problems after they flushed your ear...what kind of problems did you have? Because i noticed when they flushed my ears thats when i started getting myoclnus in the ear area
