Eustachian problems, I think

I had radiation to the nasal area for lymphoma. I had 20 treatments. About the start of #6, I started hearing myself talk and breath through the left ear. Also tinnitus. This was in Jan of this year. Problem is, it has gotten worst and worst with time. The radiation got rid of the tumor but ENT not sure what’s going on with my ear. I know it’s in the Eustachian tube because the ear pops all the time when I swallow or cough. Funny thing is, when I lay flat on my back the ear feels normal. Sounds like there may be water in the ear but Doc said no. Anyone know what might be going on and what I can do about it, thanks
