I'm 18 and I am in great health. I've been seeing doctors for a good 2 years now, almost every type of doctor. I constantly have to spit up white nasal drip and the doctors can't figure out why. I have tried every single thing. It just started randomly in the middle of winter a few years ago and will not go away.
Is there ANY type of surgery that can correct this? Or anything I should try? (I probably have already, but any advice can help)
PND is caused by allergic or non allergic rhinitis. Have you had allergy testing? Do you take antihistamines? Do allergy shots? Nasal rinse? Sprays? Give us a little more info on what's going on and what you've done.

I thought putting seeing special doctors for 2 years would account for all that? Yes, I have tried all that.
Hi Marte, Do you have gastritis or IBS...? Nasal dripping can come related to the conditions in the stomach too. I had it and had to use nasal drops to try and control the congestion etc. Yes you do end up coughing when it happens.

Went to a gastrologist already and they scoped everything, they said I was perfectly healthy. I went on an acid reflux diet for about 2 months, no effect.
OK, now I understand. You possibly have non allergic rhinitis. There is no surgery for that. Have you tried sudafed to dry it up? That's not an antihistamine. And another suggestion, did you have food allergy testing as well? Some food allergies manifest in sinus issues. My cousin is allergic to corn and corn products and it shows up as sneezing, runny nose, etc.
All that being said, it may be there is nothing you can do about it other than nasal saline spray every so often to clear your sinuses.

Yeah I tried all that, no effect. I even tried neti pots and whatnot, and they do nothing at all.
So sorry I have no other suggestions for you. It is OK to swallow the PND but you'd need to keep some food in your stomach to help digest it. Hope you find a solution you can live with.
