Long recovery after sinus surgery

I had surgery to correct my deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, chronic sinusitus, and concha bullosa a month ago. The recovery has been pretty standard except for my persistent throat clearing, nasal sounding voice, and occasional cough. I can breathe very nicely through my nose, a definite improvement. I haven't read anything online about anyone else having the persistent throat clearing, nasal voice, and cough so long after surgery. I've been to my ENT doc 3 times after surgery and am scheduled to see him again next week. Last time I was there I told him about my symptoms. He said it was not a normal part of the recovery process and didn't look like an infection so most likely was an allergy. I took the allery meds he gave me but didn't work. Has anyone else experienced this and how did it get resolved?
