| Strep throat question
Hi you, I went to the doctor's today and they diagnosed me with a possible strep throat (white patches, fever, crp 74) and prescribed me antibiotics. The rapid test for strep was negative. Mono test was negative as well.
So, I started the antibiotics 10 hours ago, and I think my throat pain is getting worse - even beginning on the side that didn't bother me before. Is this normal at this stage, or should I be worried? (I am worried, because I'm an anxious git, and any words of advice would be gratefully welcomed.)
ETA - I forgot to say, I had a strep (or something, I never really knew) a bit over a month ago.
