So I have been on antibiotics for 48 hours now and still feel mild symptoms. Everything I have read said it takes 24-48 hours to no longer be contagious but if I have a mild sore throat and it looks a little scary back there can I pass it on to people?
My guess is that in the morning I will no longer feel any symptoms because I barely feel them tonight but I keep getting tonsillitis and strep so it will be good to know in the future. Cheers.
My rule of thumb is to allow plenty of time for any contagious illness to pass before chancing spreading it to anyone else. If any symptoms are present, I would not get too close to anyone, and practice extra safe hygiene with hand washing, not sharing utensils, towels, etc., and cover all coughs and sneezes.
You never know now illness can affect others, and it is better safe than sorry. Be well!
