ENT in Maryland that WILL treat tonsil stones???

Hi! Looking for an good ENT reccomendation that treats tonsil stones rather than blowing you off. Anyone have a good experience? Looking for coblation cryptolysis if possible. Can only find a doc in Virginia. Thanks!

Why not just have a tonsillectomy? That's the best way to be sure they never come back - along with a host of other ailments!

Yea, I have thought about it. 32 years old and worried about intensity of surgery. Also the doctors claim it's cosmetic so insurance won't cover it.

Then you need to find a new ENT and talk with your insurance company yourself.

Hi Dr. Craig Schimmer in Dallas Texas does Co2 laser tonsillectomy which is similair to cryptolisis...done awake while sitting up in a chair, takes about 20 minutes. People fly in and out in same day to have procedure done...very little pain...very little down time..maybe a day or two thats it.
