4 year old being tested for Anosmia.

I started to wonder about my 4 year old son never saying anything smelled good or even bad. He was diagnosed with Apraxia at age 2 1/2 and so there was a big language barrier til he was about 3 or so and communication got better. He goes to speech and OT twice a week each and part of his OT is that he has problems eating food and we assumed it was sensory based. Now I'm wondering if it's because he can't taste because he can't smell.

I did smell tests at home and he failed miserably so I got him into an ENT doctor 2 weeks ago. They sent blood work to the Mayo Clinic to test for severe allergies first. Those came back last week and he tested at normal levels. Now we are in the process of setting him up for an MRI at UofM hospital because he will have to be sedated and they don't do that up here. They will be checking for bone abnormalities, polyps or tumors

I'm starting to wonder if it comes up with nothing and they diagnose him with anosmia, if we should have him be tested for Kallmans Syndrome.
I have been having a hard time find out about anosmia of Kallmans when it comes to children and any and all help would be appreciated. Does anyone on here have either or those?
