Unhappy Eustachian Tubes Troubles, Fluid in ears, Tinnitus

This is the order of events:

Day one
Party bus with VERY loud music.
Muffled, dulled hearing and ringing in ears for two days.

Day 3
Fever and throat infection for 3 weeks
still tinnitus, but not at all like after the bus.

It has been almost 3 months now.
It is the tinnitus that is bothering me when I go to bed.
Im very sure I have fluid in my ears. When i do a gentle knock on my ears, I hear/feel a "swhoom", as if the fluid is pushed and becomes a wave or something.

Andmy tubes sound/feel sticky, as if there is drained mucous there. When I open them by doing a jaw motion it sounds like mucous or some sticky thing clicks, pop, crackle whatever.

My theory:
I got eustachain tube blockage after being sick, and my ears were so "stressed" after the busparty that the eustachian tube blockage and fluid in the ears also gives me tinnitus. But I don't think it's permanent, because it's not ringing, at least not the kind I had after the concert. it is more.. pressure with sound, sort of. And it has varied a lot. And it gets worse for a day or two when I do the vasalva maneuver (pinching your nose and blow)

My hope is that the sound will go away when I get my eustachian tubes properly and the fluid goes away.

Some days I am very depressed and worried, other days I relax and know it will go over soon.

I am going to an ENT in 12 days. I want him to confirm I have fluid in my ears and tell me whether he thinks the tinnitus will go away with the fluid or not.

Re: Eustachian Tubes Troubles, Fluid in ears, Tinnitus

What I am asking for: Anything that can make me relaxe a little, don't want this for the rest of my life...

What helps me now: If, Ooops, I mean WHEN this goes over, I will appreciate life so much more. I know I won't be troubled with things like money or whatever as long as I can have some silence now and then..

Re: Eustachian Tubes Troubles, Fluid in ears, Tinnitus

New information:

I went to the doctor for anti depressants. I had spent all day thinking about how I couldn't live like this.

Anyways, she suggested something I had already tried the first week, but I did it again.

I used a neti pot and salt water.

The noise is almost gone. The fact that I can affect it that much with such a simple mauver makes me think this can not be permanent. What do you think?

I slept well for the first time in months.

Jebus01 What is a neti pot and salt water. You rinsed your ears with this? Thanks
