Constant ear pain - noise sensitivity
The last couple of years i get an ache deep in my ear whenever there is continual loud noise (headphones, loud tv where i am close) or nyc subway cars going by.
I remember it started a few years ago when i would be at a bar/club when friends, and when it is loud, if someone talks into my left ear i had a sharp pain while they were talking. I also at this time could feel air going in and out of my left ear if i plugged my ears and breathed through my nose.
That air sensation has improved where its not really there anymore, but now my ear is super sensitive. If i am riding my bike, my ear will start to ache, presumably from wind going inside my ear. If i drive my car now now my ear aches. If i sleep on my left ear, my ear aches the next day pretty badly. I dont live in a loud environment and i still have these problems..My ear is not sensitive to touch, there is non fluid inside my ear, no ear infection..just constant pain deep in my ear, some days i dont have it but most days i do, it fluctuates
I saw an ent and he did a bunch of tests, hearing, scope up my nose etc, fluid heck, and there was nothing wrong with me. Gave me steroid nose spray and some oil based ear drops basically guessing these might clear up this mystery pain/inflammation, and nothing worked.
Has anyone had these symptoms before? Any solutions? My life would be so much better if i could solve this..
