Right side throat and neck ache
About 4 weeks ago I woke up with a mild discomfort on the right side of my Adams apple. About a week into it I got a severe right sided head ache with chills and heart palpitations. I went to the ER and they did blood work, EKG and chest xray and everything came back normal. They said it must be a virus. Since then my right side neck and throat pain get's slightly worse at times but other times I can't even tell it's there. I've recently noticed hot and cold sensitivity in that area when I swallow but only occasionally and once in a while when I'm breathing heavily like when I'm out for a run I feel like there's a raw area on that side but otherwise no problems or pain when swallowing. Certain times I get achy feeling in my neck and I can also feel a slight right sided head ache but it goes away as fast as it comes on. I have no hoarseness I've felt around I have no swelling that I can tell and no other symptoms. I'm 43 years old and haven't smoked in 14 years and drink a glass or two of wine now and then. I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow.
