The solution is more than simple. Food therapist, i dont know how you call them in the USA. First session, they put you on a machine and find out have much percent of your body weight is made up of fat, muscle and water.
Then they give you a guideline of what to eat, and you can basically eat throughout the day up to 5 times and lose weight.
This suggestion may bring another problem alive, that is if you are used to carrying an empty stomach all day long.
The worst thing you can do is eat a small meal each day only. That will only increase your appetite and may become manic.
Anyway thats my expirience, by your method of eating once per day and not going to a specialist that give you food guidelines you might be able to lose weight, as i did years ago but its a horrible pain i think!
