Hi Everyone, I'm new here.i just want people to talk to who perhaps know what i'm going thru. I have been anorexic since i was 15, i am 18 now. i struggle everyday with day to day eating habits and just plain trying to cope. i get lonely and just want people to talk to.

Welcome to the site! We are so glad you are here. Hopefully you won't get lonely now. You automatically have friends to rally around you to encourage you while you're walking through this battle that we've all gone through (or are going through). You are not alone in this. We are here for you.

Welcome to the boards, you will find many here who you can talk with and will encourage and support you.

May I ask if an adult in your life knows about your ED or if you are currently getting help with it?

You are right that an ED is a lonely life, but as Misti said, you don't have to feel alone we can relate to your struggles!

Keep posting and read some of the past ones - there is some good stuff there!

It's nice to know ui have people to talk to and to support me. My friends try as hard as they can to support me and i know they care but they honestly dont know what i'm going thru and i can see the secret looks they give each other when they think i'm not looking.
i think i will look forward to sharing my thoughts and feelings with people

my parents know about my ED, but unfortunately are not very supportive. They belive it is just some silly faze i'm going thru, even thought i have been anorexic for 3 years.
