Question Pica
I have been obssesed with eating erasers for almost ten years. The older I get the more I have the need to eat them. Do you think I have that eating disorder called pica? What effects on the inside of my body can eating erasers do? Someone please give me some advice!!!!!

How weird, I was just talking about Pica today with my dietitian. It turns out that people usually eat strange things like dirt and other non-edible things when they are lacking something in their diet like vitamins or minerals or such. Have you asked your doctor about it?

Sounds like Pica to me...I'm not sure what is in erasers, so not sure what effects they have on you. Maybe do a search and find out. Some MDs think that Pica is due to a deficiency in something. Have you told YOUR MD about this?
