over eating

i eat way to much, i need advice on how to concentrate on not over eating, i used to have anorexia and occasionally a bit of bulemia when i was 15 or so i got over that now i am 22, on most days i definatly over eat. i look at my self and i see a blimp i want my 47 kg body back and i dont want to be in this 58 kg body i know it is only 11 kg but its 11 kg thats very hard to loose when you cant seem to stop eating, i dont want to be sick again buy if i dont gain controll of how much i eat soon im afraid that i will have to stop eating again or even worse throwing up. is it common for previous anorexia sufferers to go from that exteeem to this because i cant understand what is wrong with me. i dont want to be to thin i just want to beable to feel good about my self. i dont feel in controll and the only way i know how to controll things is without food. help!

Re: over eating

Gord this is an ED board and supporting someone's weight loss or even restriction of food isn't a good idea at all. Whether or not the poster truly does need to control her eating, going about it in the way(s) you suggested are NOT healthy and are typical of ED behaviour. Please be careful with your 'advice'.
