Grandpa died - trigger and i'm pregnant - Eating Disorder Recovery Message Board

hi,

i have been bulimic/restricting for about 6, but last year i managed to sort myself out, and i was ok for about 10 months, now, my grandpa dies in december, and i found out i'm pregnant too, and my eating has gone down hill, i am just scared i'll go back to where i was again. has anyone been in this situation if so , please help?

hey, i haven't been in your situation but i wanted to respond that i'm sorry for your loss and the difficult times you're going through. any time you need to talk, i'll be here to listen and offer support. cyber hugs!

i think you can be strong and heal yourself, but i think you might need a little help in this situation. have you considered therapy? you've got a lot going on in your life right now, not to mention the fact that your hormones are gonna go a little bit crazy! i think it might be VERY beneficial to speak with someone who can help you cope and stay strong.

for now though, try to focus on how far you've come. i know you can do this, if not 100% for yourself, then i know you can 100% for your baby! good luck!
