| Re: Different forms of anorexia?
yes, there ARE many different forms of anorexia, and eating disorders in general. different mindsets, different fears and worries, different "practices" and eating habits, etc. many people also exhibit symptoms of more than one of the "classic" disorders. there really is no one specific type of eating disorder, you know? although there are MANY similarities, everybody is different. it might be more helpful if you list what you think is going on with your cousin. tangible things like weight loss, refusal to eat, overeating, etc. and also mental/emotional things like if she seems depressed, anxious, fears food, etc.
