Well, firstly (and not so positively) I got admitted to a psychiatric unit a while ago to spend some time trying to get to grips with my newly diagnosed anorexia.
However, they stuck me STRAIGHT onto a diet of 2000 calories a day, quickly increased to 2500, and then soon to be changed again to 3000, which was slightly demoralising for someone used to, and very happy with a 400 calorie intake...
ANYWAY, I got through 2 weeks, but I wasn't doing well. I was deliberately not sleeping, and getting anxious at the drop of a hat. I was screaming, shouting, and at the smallest thing I would start up hysterical crying fits.
They wanted to keep me there about 16 weeks, but I wanted to leave. There and then. So two weeks in, I convinced them that I could do this at home.
In there, I only put on 0.4 kg, and admittedly since I have come out I have lost it all again (not so much deliberately, but I couldn't keep up the eating pattern).
However, I am eating much more, feel much better about myself, and have ENERGY again!
Honestly, I am eating normally and have not put on a pound, and I had to most sluggish metabolism ever...if you don't try and eat a bit more, you'll never know.
In fact, I'm actually still losing, which is less than positive, but I will psyche myself up to stick a few more calories in there at some point if I continue the trend.
Thankyou for informing and supporting me, and I'll carry on coming here for the same things. I'm far from cured, the processes are still there, but I've taken one step, FOOD IN SMALL AMOUNTS WILL NOT MAKE YOU FAT.
