hey guys! looks like alot of us are getting better and better. At least i thought i was getting better. (I am/was bulimic for quite some time)

my problem now: my prom is next friday....yes the big graduation thing with the nice dress, date, partying etc. well i've got my dress and am ready to rumble. it's fits great but i feel like since i'm at the crunch before my prom that i should try and look my best and subsequently, i started purging again! grrr =(

i have come all this way and i feel that within the course of the past little while i've gone to ground zero.

any insights would be appreciated!

Try to remember that while the Prom is a big exciting event it is ONE night of the rest of your life... It may seem very important to you now but please trust me (I am 30..lol) when you get older and look back you will realize it was just a nice party. Certainly not worth screwing up your body and health for! and besides if your dress fits perfect now and you lose any weight than it won't even look as nice by the time prom comes :-)

Also...according to my husband, most men prefer a women's body with a women's shape...breasts, hips, etc... it's mostly women that believe that skinnier is more attractive.

I agree with per. The eating disorder monster as I refer to it will try to sneak into your life at anytime and you have to be on the lookout hon. Remember how hard it was to stop purging the first time and think that you don't want to have to do that again. Purging is so dangerous and it can be deadly. We want you alive to go to your prom with beautiful teeth and a dress that fits.
