stopped binging - Eating Disorder Recovery Message Board

Hey everyone, I have recently stopped binging in 2 days im still trying to stop and I hope I will never do it again but I never know. Today after eating my dinner I thought i had eaten to much so I went to the bathroom and made myself throw up. I do not like how i stopped one of my disorder and now going to something alot worse than food binging!!

i know how you feel. I have done that too. I don't know what to do about it.I think that i am the one who needs help too.we will get throught it together.

Bingeing is a hard thing tostop. I did that after my Dad was involved in an accident (wasn't killed)...and you think 'Just one more'...'it won't hurt if I have that..' etc etc! I have thrown up a few times. It got very addictive and I found myself thinking I had to do it. But if you want to stop....trap yourself in your bedroom or what ever. And wait for 15 mins. Then your food will have digested. You maybe feel u r full not because you have eaten too much (that is your negative voice...ignore it!) but because u have never experienced what fullness feels like in a while.
