I have had such a bad weekend. Four family dinners tons upon tons of unsafe food, and people that stare at you while you eat its official I'm never celebrating another holiday again!! I have done soooo bad these past 3 days. I have binged and purged more in the last few days then in weeks, when will this get better?? I feel like for every step i go forward i go back 5 steps..
I feel so completly worthless and angry at myself for not using other methods of coping (why do i have to eat?)What can you do? How do you begin to get well when the enviroment you live in triggers you, and you can't leave?? I weighed 1.5 pd heavy this evening and i know that tommorow i'm gonna have to repent for keeping that food down tonight when i ate, i know that i'll probally punish myself for half the week for that extra weight... How do you get past that? Sorry so long thanx for listening>>>.

One thing that has helped me is trying to see food not as the enemy, not as some kind of "poison" that you have to get rid of... but as healthy and nourishing. I know that it really hard sometimes, and overeating doesn't feel healthy either, but if we break the cycle and get to eating moderate but healthy amounts, food can become the friend instead of the enemy.

family dinners are un-doubtedly the worst! everyone watching, nothing to do but keep eating aaaaaggghh!please take note of above posting, whatever we think food isn't enemy, we must take control of it not the other way around! please please don't punish yourself this week instead just eat healthy and go for a jog or swim, nothing crazy just get your energy flowing.
