im so sick of living like this. i feel so overpowered by my constant hunger and cravings-they never, ever do away, no matter how much or often I eat. I've been this way about 4 years now, and i'm 18. im normal weight but im concerned about what im doing to my health-i never have any energy, feel fat all the time, and im depressed.
i cant go 10 minutes without eating, my intense cravings and hunger are ALWAYS there. i cant ignore it, because its all i can think about. its like its physically painful for me to try and eat what im craving.
i just want to feel full and happy and live my life like a normal person. I miss out on so much because of my problem. i never want to go out b/c i feel so fat in my clothes. i have no self esteem because i cant control this. im not trying to make people feel sorry for me, i just want to know if anyone else is dealing or has dealt with this problem-any advice, it would be much appreciated

Lisa, reading your post felt like it was my own writing. I am the SAME EXACT WAY, except I am overweight. I can not stop myself when cravings come on. It completely controls my life. I dont know what to either. I lie about where i am going when i am craving something, i hide food, and lie about how much i eat a day. i have no control over this either...i too cant go more than 10 min without eating something, ANYTHING!!!!! but im hardly ever hungry...i dont know why this is happening

To both of you- maybe it is just anxiety that you are mistaking for hunger or maybe there is a higher acid level in your stomaches something to do with the liver and bile and pancreas.

Do y'all drink enough water, lay off the sodas even the diet ones?

You are in the prime of your life, every woman over 27 wishes they had your youth and metabolism.

I remember I use to think I was fat at 118 5'6" I would just look at my leg and think OMG its the size of a cows thigh- I wore sweats to gym everyday for a year and a half-looking back it turns out it was just flab/untone/looked bad to me when I was sitting indian style.
