Post Cured!! read this!!

Hi every one, im sure you have all heard this over and over, But the Dr Atkins diet has been my saviour, literally over night!!! this time last week, id had my fingers down throught 6 times a day and thats befor dinner!! eeww! ive been ana, then bulemic then completely and utterly out of control bulemic, blood shot eyes, swolen face and hands, sore throte (cant spell)...oh god help me!!

and he did...well him and dr atkins, i know people say its unhealthy but its better that sticking my fingers down my thought 10 times a day...

i can eat, big chicken cesear salads, quiches with bacon and cheese, chocolate milk shakes and lots more YUMM!

i feel so great, and would love you all to feel the same, ive been a whole 5 days since B/P, lost 4 pounds already!!, excercising, no more puffy face and my eyes are all clear and white...YEY!!

Good for you! I hope you stay on the road to recovery. I wish I could go for that long with out purging. Its been two days for me. Only stopping because I have a night out on Sat night, and trying desperatley to get my puffy face down.

Question

What do you eat? Do you have a menu for the first - induction week? I'd like to try it, but I haven't been able to pick up the book and I just want the basics...I'm not into cooking big meals. The simpler the better. Any help would be amazing!

Question

Hi! I was just wondering is it still working? Are you still on the Atkins Diet and is it easier to stop the b-p cycle by sticking to the diet? I wanted to know which foods were okay to eat on the diet you are following. I'm in recovery for bulimia and am trying to adopt normal eating habits where I eat meals that make me full and stop me from snacking. Thanks!

hi you guys, im not a purger, but ive definetly overeaten thruout my life.
at 300 lbs, i finally took an ivitation from a friend and attended a tops meeting with her. im down 30 lbs. ive noticed something , now that im more in tune with what im eating. When i eat carbs, I want to keep eating carbs- they are addicing to me as hell. when i eat my lowfat meats and vegs, i dont want to overeat. the urge just isn't there. sugar and fat thrown in with the carbs, like the processed foods ... whoa!, stand back ,i'll eat the whole box. i wonder, do you think the food industry knows what ingredients are poison/addicting to us, and keeps feeding them to us? (just like the tobacco companies did?)
thats what i think they're doing. not only that, but they'll use sly tactics to fool you into thinking your doing yourself a favor, like, " contains all the calcium you need for the day" etc..etc.. meanwhile they've pumped you with garbage. Ever thought about this one: 95 % of the food shelved in these mega markets is processed! 26 isles of processed garbage and one isle of produce.They are making trillions of dollars to poison you,and they know how to keep you coming back..sugar/carb addiction. have you thought about the fact that as the last 30 years has past, the increase in processed foods seems to be in direct correlation with the increase in obesity, etc? the other day i read an article where a doc was stating that kids are fatter now than ever because they don't exercise. what a crock o crap. It's the garbage going into their guts. I havnt exercised one day to lose these 30 pounds. all i did was cut down on the fat/carb/sugar. sorry im going on such a roll, but, it peeves me that this industry is killing people with a slow and silent death and getting away with it.
