| did I have a bizarre ED?
Hi everyone,
This is my 1st time posting here.
Well, the story goes, I saw a friend of mine spit out a piece of cake once. I asked her if it was bad and she said NO!, I just didn't want to swallow the calories. That was the beginning of my ED. I never knew of anyone else who had done this, nor did I ever hear of it. I only knew of anorexia/bulimia. Well, to make a long story short, I did this for YEARS. I decided I did not want my children to EVER see me do this, so I decided to see someone about it. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. I'm proud to say that I have recovered but was just wondering if anyone else has ever done this and did you have any side effects. I'm asking because my friend (who still does this) has been having issues with swelling and water retention. I never had this, but I have heard somewhere this is a side effect. Is this true. She has had numerous tests and everything is negative. I am posting for her and want her to know there ARE side effects to this and she should seek help. Any info or advice would be helpful. Thanks
