| what meds for bulimia worked for you?
Hi, first time posting for me. I'm very bulimic, have been for 15 years. For those with bulimia, I was just wondering if anyone would be able to share what meds have worked for them successfully. I am currently on naltraxone (normally used to treat other addictions), and also just started on a low dose of topamax. Naltraxone curbs the urges to b/p a little, but does not take them away. Topamax side effects are pretty extreme: memory loss, cognitive impairment, hair loss and then some. it's almost like adding insult to injury since my body is already barely surviving after years of ED-inflicted abuse. I've tried SSRIs before and those did not work for me. Please share what's working/worked for you. Thank you
