| Any 50 yr old bulimics out there?
Hi
I am new to this site. I am 51 and I still have bulimia especially when situations get stressful. I can manage not being sick when things go well. I did manage to stop in my 20s for 4 years but I had a very easy life then. Now i have financial problems, very insecure job, relationship problems. and I have developed a binge drink problem in addition. (I am going to .A.A for a year to try to sort that out.) I do not drink very often but when I do I can't stop)
I do not binge all day like I once did but as soon as a stressful situation occurs it happens at night. I have crowns and implants coz of bile ruining my teeth etc.
I wonder if anyone out there in middle age is still suffering from these problems?
For those of you are younger, I think you can probably get over this disease . When i was 13 they thought you were just being a stupid girl.
