Unhappy Can anyone help????:-((((

I am active duty Navy, and Ive been seen for the past 5 months at a Naval hospital for cronic stomach pain. I have cronic kidney stones and ulcers, but for the past 2 months I've not showed either on CT's or X-Rays. I've been seen by Urology and Gynocology, but neither can seem to tell me the problem. I'm in extreme pain 24-7 and they have me on Vicodin for pain and phenogen for nausea and vomitting. But I can't continue to take narqotics to supress the pain, I need to find the cause. The pain starts in my mid-stomach area and radiates to my right side and is sickaning, I can't take it anymore. Sometimes in the morning when I first wake up, I can't hardly even walk, mush less do anything else. It's really sharp and when it starts it takes hours for it to calm down, but it never goes away. Can anyone help me find an explanation. Please..............

Have they tested you for pancreatitis or hepatitis, eg.? Gall bladder? Seems weird that they can't diagnose this problem when you have access to all this medical care. Good luck, Sera

Have you had a abdominal ultrasound? Because its right sided pain I automatically thought Appendix but its been going on for a while & I really don't know how long Appendix pain continues for until surgery is required.

Oh I just noticed you mentioned CT in your post. Have you had a camera test performed where a camera is inserted into your mouth & passed through your stomach? These can pick up things that a scan cannot sometimes. I really don't know what to advise you unfortunately apart from the above so I've just thrown a few ideas out there.

Have you thought about alternative treatment? Like seeing and herbalist/nutritional consultant? Many times emotional problems manifest in the physical body...perhaps you aren't dealing with a physical problem at all?
