Fat atrophy all over with Nuro issues
Hi there , I posted under Nuromucular area but even nuros can't figure it out. Has anyone heard of endo problems involving Nuro symptoms but losing fat everywhere. Down 2 sizes but no real weight loss. Getting into university taking 4 months. I look like I went on a really bad drastic diet.

Fat atrophy under the skin can be caused by lupus panniculitis. It is caused by an inflammatory process in the subcutaneous tissue that leads to atrophy and scarring. It can occur anywhere on the body. I would get a test for lupus (ANA) blood test and see a rheumatologist and dermatologist for eval and treatment. Medication is available to prevent this from recurring.
